Honda fans rejoice—the motoring giant has unveiled three new cars that will be rolling off the production line over the next few years. However, there's a catch—these cars will be exclusive to the Chinese market.

Honda has finally released three new all-electric vehicles that it plans to demonstrate at the Beijing Auto China show – the Ye S7, the Ye P7, and the Ye GT. Sadly, unless you intend to be at the show or want to travel to China any time soon, you might not get to see them in person. Time to book a plane ticket?

According to the news, the S7 and the P7 will be available as single-motor RWDs and twin-motor AWD models. With these new models, Honda appears to be pushing for power in particular—and yet, the handling of these EVs is already turning heads.

While the exteriors appear to be fairly standard as crossover SUVs go, the interiors are reportedly very roomy indeed, with a stack of stylish ambient lighting and AI-based digital assistants built in. The AI revolution is here, and it's heading for your car, it seems!

According to reports, the Ye GT is set to be the most dynamic of the three new motors. At a glance, experts say it looks sportier than the aforementioned EVs—and it's even going to arrive with a "cockpit" of sorts! However, passengers will still have plenty of room and even better views.

Honda’s terrific trio of EVs will make showroom debuts by the end of 2024 for Chinese motorists to pore over. That said, even the GT model is just a concept right now – and will only hit Chinese showrooms in 2025.

Nevertheless, the upcoming show will allow EV fans out East to get a feel for what Honda has been doing and what’s in store for electric vehicle innovations moving further into the decade. The cars will be available to see at the show from April 25th, 2024.

Honda claims that it plans on releasing a total of six models from the Ye series, total, all exclusive to China, by the end of 2027.

The series is named after the Mandarin character meaning  "shining brightly". The idea is that Honda aims to help all of the Ye series owners develop a genuine passion for driving, letting their own passion shine through, and letting it shine bright. That beats getting from A to B – sign us up!

Moreover, these new models will proudly wear the all-new and much-anticipated H badge, which was exclusively made for Honda’s upcoming EVs.

Currently, Honda offers the popular e:N series EVs to China – meaning the Ye series is set to slot alongside as an evolution of sorts. The EV market is booming in China right now – meaning it’s unsurprising the manufacturer is focusing efforts there.

But, will we ever get to try a Ye EV on roads outside of Asia? Who can say – stick with us, and we will soon let you know.
